In 1959, Benny's was established in the Palma Ceia area of the South Tampa peninsula between the Palma Ceia Golf and Country Club and MacDill Air Force Base. We are the longest continually operating "Brick and Mortar" Full-Service Locksmith Shop in Hillsborough County and our slogan "Here Comes Benny!" is recognized by several generations of Tampa residents as being synonymous with friendly service when you need it!

Benny's Key Shop is family owned and operated and specializes in offering personalized service in entry systems including locks, door knobs and other access control solutions. We have remote keyless entry fobs and digital access systems for home and business, and offer residential and commercial safe sales and service.

We are Security Solutions Experts and pride ourselves in finding reasonably priced solutions to solve a variety of security issues. We Recommend Medeco and ASSA High Security Locks for Key Control and Pick (Bump) resistance as well as Hayman Safes, American Security Product Safes (AMSEC) and Hollon Safes to protect against Fire and Burglary threats.  

We are certified in KABA MAS Hamilton GSA Approved Security Devices and Containers as well as a number of architectural hardware manufacturers such as Schlage, Von Duprin and LCN. We also carry certifications as International Fire Door Inspectors by Intertek and are Perfect Raceway Certified to Core Drill Warnock Hersey Fire Doors for Electrical Raceways without compromising their Fire Rating.
